Good call - I think this is fine for now.
Do these invitation links expire after a certain amount of time? I feel like I've hit many stale links in the past. Maybe that's a reason to upgrade? cc @richbustos |
It generates new links every so often but they never expire But yeah, i think upgrading makes sense. Will do that later today. |

@richbustos How much would it cost? If it's affordable, we might not need this PR. If it's expensive and doesn't come with any other benefits, I think that it would be find to keep https://discord.gg/tewQuNeUyS combined with this PR. |
This will sound confusing but we would need to get 14 Boosts to Level 3 to unlock custom links. Breakdown Resource for Discord Boosting perks and leveling: https://discord.fandom.com/wiki/Server_Boosting |
We will wait for the community to help boost our server. We can use this link everwhere, to have something to share that feels official: https://mui.com/r/discord |
A continuation of #38131
To consider if it's worth getting the the level 3 of boost for https://www.notion.so/mui-org/Thoughts-on-Discord-server-first-draft-5a35bbfbca254ed29245b11808f93cc3?pvs=4#e93d7c2b987c4f33b07210880400200d. Or if this could be simple enough. In any case, if we ever decide to change in the future, a redirection could be great to avoid broken links.
