Companion app not reading power from Jetblack Victory #189
-
I picked up a new Jetblack Victory trainer with the Zwift Cog & Click and I'm running into a few issues. First the Companion app doesn't seem to read power from the Victory. No issues with TrainerRoad or Garmin. Is anyone using this trainer successfully? Next, virtual shifting doesn't seem to work either. Because of the issue with reading power from the trainer, I'm using my powermeter as the power source, but while riding virtual shifting seems to be non-functional and I'm left riding at ~230 watts. Could this be related to the fact that power is not measured from the trainer that's controlling resistance? |

I have a kickr core with virtual gearing (clicker) and the zwift cog. And my companion app has no issues connecting to any of the mentioned bluetooth devices. Works flawlessly. But yea, sounds like a connectivity issue with bluetooth/phone/zwift. In any case i doubt this has anything to do with this zwift container. |

Thanks for the response. I installed Zwift on a windows machine and there's definitely an issue connecting the Victory through the Companion App. I am going to try wifi, "NETWORKING=host", and see if that changes anything. |

GREAT SUCCESS! Connecting the JetBlack Victory to WiFi and setting "NETWORKING=host" did the trick. It's a bit finicky, I had to restart the Companion app and container several times before everything connected, but it works!
