Why

Currently, our Flutter Templates is not a Template repository, so it requires the developers to manually clone/check out the whole repository before generating a new project. With the Template repository, the developers can quickly create their repository project from Flutter Templates.

To make Flutter Templates to be a Template repository:

  • Enable Template repository from the Settings.
  • Update the project generator's workflow to move the generated project to the root folder and clear all unnecessary scripting after generating.
