The current regression test names (test-regress-GH-<ID>) are not self-explanatory. I would prefer to use more descriptive names, especially as some of the referenced issues are from the old repository, but I am not sure whether that's a good idea.

  1. Do we want to rename regression test in such a way?
  2. Do we need to keep the copyright headers (if present)?

Until answered, I just renamed some of the more obvious regression tests.

@richardlau Yes, I had to split test-regress-GH-12371 into two tests to properly rename it. Thinking about it, I should probably have done that when I originally wrote the regression test for #12371.

suggestion: rename it to "test-net-..." because http is not used here.
