@janahaddad @saeed-moghimi-noaa @uturuncoglu @pvelissariou1 and everyone else I missed; thank you so much for your preparation and time the other day. I appreciate the effort you're all putting into clarifying our goals for ufs-coastal and communicating our successes and challenges. I don't think I walked away from that meeting with immediate action, but please correct me if I'm wrong. I'm happy to do what I can to keep this moving forward. Data assimilation is one topic we still need to discuss and is still a concern for me. I understand that DA is not an immediate goal for this work, but it is essential for NOS and our external partners, and I'd like to understand better where it fits in the big picture. I'll formulate more specific questions and tee that up for a meeting down the road. Thanks again! |
