Sidebar select loses provided query when users filter the results

Easy (and possibly only?) example, the add attachment button for the Mapping site block: it uses the query parameter to limit results to only the items/media with mappings, but if you use the search/filter options at all, that restriction is lost and your results are of all items in the pool, not just the location-mapped ones.
