What are the most relevant documents to get started with TIA Portal Openness? Which application examples are available?

if you want to start with Openness programming, I would prefer you the following documents and application examples:

• TIA Portal Openness Explorer: Here you can browse live the openness api based on your TIA project
• TIA Openness Manual: Overview of openness api and basics
• Selection Guide TIA Add-In / Openness Application / Modular Application Creator Equipment Module: Give you an overview in which flavor you can use openness
• Hardware Parameter list: If you want to modify hardware or generate hardware configuration, then it is useful which parameters are accessable via openness and which hardware value means what. This list find you in the installation directory of TIA Portal. For example in TIA Portal V19: "C:\Program Files\Siemens\Automation\Portal V19\PublicAPI\V19\HW Parameter description"
• TIA Addin Templates: If you want to create an TIA Addin, then the Templates for VS2019, VS2022 and VS Code are very helpful. This you find on the TIA Portal Installation Setup DVD2 in the directory "Support\TIA_Portal_Add-In_Tools\Development". With this template you can create very easy an addin with all post build events and can live debug the addin with break points out of the box.
