Hello!

This is your latest release of jinx goodness. As indicated by the version number this is just doing some cleanups and improves usability. A big hat tip again goes to @click0 who seems to be very invested in making this tool the best it can be!

Changelog

  • 🐍 Replaced the Python dependency with native date functionality (@click0)
    Instead of getting the latest timestamp via Python, we now do so by native UNIX commands

  • 📦 New releases now make backups of old releases
    When you update to a new version of jinx, it will now create backup files for the previous version. This ensures that if anything goes wrong during the update process, you can still revert back to your old version.

  • 🏗 Rename configurations folder to templates
    The templates now live in a folder that is more suitably named for them. This has no functional implications and is merely a cosmetic change.
