Mysql password are deprecated and no longer supported by default on mysql 8.4
Please add functionality to connect with ssl so we kan use caching_sha2_passworderd .

Just stumbled upon the same issue.

MySQL 8.0+ uses caching_sha2_password by default instead of mysql_native_password

It's disabled by default now, so long term this is going to cause issues if not fixed.
