@Mobelis could you elaborate a bit on this PR and what it aims to do. In what cases have you encountered 'unknown transaction' errors? |

I respectfully disagree with just ignoring an underlying problem, it is better to report it back to the user and act upon it as an error, and in the meantime I believe truffle have finally fixed this problem with v4.1.3. |
