What is the bug or the crash?
If you use a raster with nan values in the new profile tool, they will be displayed correctly in the line view. In those places a gap is displayed. In the "Fill above" and "Fill below" mode, however, the nan values are not displayed as a gap but a continuous polygon is created. Here I would actually expect that the space in between with nan values remains empty and only the space below real values is filled.
