Will future releases include features for building a multi-vendor online marketplace, not just selling for a single business? Thanks.

Yes, multi-vendor marketplace support is on our roadmap (which you can view here) and has been considered in architecture decisions from the beginning. Currently we are focused on getting to a stable beta release for single-vendor shops, but multi-vendor support is planned and an important part of the long-term product vision.
