This has been long overdue! I backported changes to the 2.0 versioned docs as well.
In the midst of doing this I realized that our basic auth doc could use some work. It doesn't really talk about
api/src/lib/auth.jsat all, which is kind of the key to the whole thing. To be fair this was written very early in Redwood's life and we've added/changed a lot since then. I added an issue to do a big run-through of the intro doc: #5786I've got an upcoming release #5680 that'll add a bunch of docs to dbAuth, but this re-categorization can go live ASAP.
