Summary

Go 1.18 introduces generics, fuzzing, workspaces, and significant performance improvements.

Problem Definition

Updating to go 1.18 will improve performance and allow us to leverage new features such as generics, fuzzing, and workspaces.

Proposal

Update all go modules to go version 1.18.
