Geoguessr Autosplitter is a browser extension which connects to a local LiveSplit Server using WebSockets to perform automatic actions (starting run, splitting, pausing game time, resetting, etc.)
Current LiveSplit release does not embed a WebSockets server yet, you may download the dev build here
- https://addons.mozilla.org/fr/firefox/addon/gg-autosplitter/
- https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/geoguessr-autosplitter/pbdmmcffhcaejcjglkoibnhimgpkmhkc
Note: The extension is only enabled on geoguessr tabs. On any other tab it will be displayed with its default logo, with no background status.
Note: You may pin the taskbar icon to your taskbar for easier tracking of your connection status.
Once the extension is installed :
- Right Click on LiveSplit > Control > Start WebSocket server (by default, will start on ws://localhost:16834/livesplit)
- Setup your preferences by clicking the extension logo
- Enable the extension in the extension settings
If the connection succeeded, the taskbar icon should have a green background. This means that you're connected to your livesplit instance, woohoo!
Now, if you start a game or challenge, the timer should automatically start.
Default livesplit comparison is set to In Game time. The Livesplit comparison setting will set your LiveSplit comparison at run start.
If your timer does not start when starting a game, ensure the extension icon hasn't a red background. A red background means the connection to the WebSocket server is closed. You may then try to refresh your tab. If this does not still work, you may check your developer console for more information.

- Edge, Opera, Chromium (tested rapidly, should be identical to chrome)
