- Setup the environment
module load gcc/8.2.0 python/3.8.5
- Create a python virtual env
python -m venv sumo
Note that sumo here can be replaced with any venv name of your choosing.
- Activate the venv
source activate sumo/bin/activate
- Install packages
pip install -r requirements.txt
- Define
SUMO_HOME
to your bashrc file. If you are using a different shell, edit this accordingly. If you choose to install sumo via other means, also change theSUMO_HOME
location.

NOTE: You must repeat step 1 and 3 when running code on Euler.
