  • EXOTIC will not install with Python>=3.12. This is because Astropy <=6.1.4 is broken and does not install in Py 3.12.
    • Option 1: Lock EXOTIC to Python 3.10-3.11
    • Option 2: Upgrade Astropy to 6.1.4 (may require some extended testing)

Merged and released. Solution for Python 3.12 compatibility was dependency updates.

Closing as complete.
