Describe what you noticed and did

Applications may crash when IP is not defined for the domain name in DNS Filtering.

  1. Set NetworkDnsFilter=www.example.com
  2. Set EnableMiniDump=y (required for Chrome, optional for Firefox)
  3. Run Chrome sandboxed
  4. Go to the www.example.com
  5. It should crash. (Chrome crashes partially, Firefox crashes completely.)

How often did you encounter it so far?

Every time

Expected behavior

It shouldn't crash.

Browsers etc.

The program is installed only outside the sandbox.

Sandboxie Plus 1.15.4 64-bit

Is it a new installation of Sandboxie?

I have been using the same version for some time.

All sandbox types (I tried them all).

Can you reproduce this problem on a new empty sandbox?

I can confirm it also on a new empty sandbox.

What is your Windows edition and version?

Windows 10 Pro 22H2 64-bit [Version 10.0.19045.5371], Windows 11 Pro 23H2 64-Bit

In which Windows account you have this problem?

An account with UAC protection set to Always notify., A Microsoft account (Administrator).

Please mention any installed security software

Did you previously enable some security policy settings outside Sandboxie?
