Currently, only the old SVN version is printed out on startup. This must be changed in order to use the current Git revision/tag. See http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1704907/how-can-i-get-my-c-code-to-automatically-print-out-its-git-version-hash and http://rem.eifzilla.de/archives/2012/08/17/beta-release-numbering-with-git
