Summary
This isn't to say we won't drop support for other versions of Node, but we should definitely drop support for 12.
I have realised CI isn't covering newer versions of Node, but I'll do a dedicated PR adding those; I've also not updated any dependencies because those are not guaranteed breaking changes so can be explored separately
