This project was a part of my “Software Architecture Development” module. The goal of this project was to create a health management application that helps diabetics to manage their condition better. In this module, we conceived the idea and implemented the UI.

DBCare-Plus (Software Architecture Development)

Group size: 5
The idea for our app DBCare+ was conceived in stages and UI was implemented.

Stage 1 and 2: Interviews and Personas
Role: Conducted user and expert interviews (Research for app) and assisted in creating Personas, which helped us to identify target user groups and how tech saavy they are, and to further build our user stories.


Stage 3: User Stories
Role: Actively participated in brainstorming user stories.


Stage 4: Story Mapping
Assisted in Story Mapping which gives an overview on how a user navigate through the application.


Stage 5: Customer Experience Map (JOURNEY MAP)
Role: Assisted in coming up with Journey Map which is a path where a user navigates through the entire application and what he/she thinks and feels while going through our app features.


Stage 6: Paper Prototype
Role: Assisted in designing and paper prototyping using UXpin. We drew on paper, took screenshots of the drawings and linked these drawings using UXPin. Click on the following link to see a clickable paper prototype in action.

Stage 7: High-Fidelity Prototype
Role: Assisted in developing a High-Fidelity prototype using Ionic Framework with HTML5 and CSS3 (APP UI). Click on the following link to view the prototype.

Stage 7: User Testing
Role: Assisted in User Testing by showing the working of our high fidelity prototype of the application to users and feedbacks were recorded using Google Forms. Please click on the following link to see the questions asked for user feedback.
