Scrobbles the last title twice

I notice that SLS scrobbles the last title of a play list twice in Google Play Music.

I'm using Android 4.4 and lastest version of Google Play Music.

I think the problem is even worse - I get many copies of the last played song when Google Play Music is paused, not just two. Judging by the reviews in the Play Store, this is hitting a lot of users.

Mine started behaving in the same way. Clearing the application and adding my login details again seemed to fix this.
