The particle falling effect in background that all pages used to have has disappeared

Hi!
Regarding this issue, for now i'll create a pr for fixing the particle effect, so that the issue on hand is fixed. And not make any changes in script.js (for the snowflake effect) because i think that part was what caused the error, then ill work on fixing that without disturbing the existing run, is that okay?
