This release of SCP Wallet contains our fifth patch release for Aeternum; IPFS gateways which the SCP Wallet relied on for viewing NFTS in the wallet have discontinued their services, so StakeCube now has created it's own IPFS gateway which can be used to retrieve SCP-4 token data from IPFS. nft.Storage discontinued their free API, so this functionality has been disabled in the wallet and the setting removed from the developer section of the settings.
In addition to this, while we are working on putting in place a solution for uploading to IPFS and local SCP-4 minting, the functionality has been disabled in the graphical part of the wallet while a solution is put in place. Collection creation is still possible through the wallet, however the API must be utilized for token minting.
This update is mandatory.
📄 Note for SCP-4 token developers:
Minting SCP-4 tokens is still possible through the SCP Wallet's API while running a full SCP node if you are able to upload the images to IPFS yourself.
The /api/v1/wallet/mintnft/:address/:contract/:name/:image_cid
API endpoint can be used to mint tokens which have been manually uploaded to IPFS.
