Win10 - April 2019 Updates - RDP Wrapper Not Supported #755
Comments
Also looking for INI settings. 1809 - 10.0.17763.437 Thank you in advance. i need to pay it forward elsewhere... |
Go here https://github.com/fre4kyC0de/rdpwrap , find your version and add the contents to your rdpwrap.ini, reboot. Make sure you leave a space at the end of your ini file. RDPwrap will not function properly if there is any text at the bottom of the ini file, it needs to end with a blank space. |
We have a 10.0.17134.706 version so I copy this file https://github.com/fre4kyC0de/rdpwrap/blob/master/10.0.17134.706.txt Then I uninstall and install RDPWRAP version 1.6.2 and the result is the following: Why? |
Thanks for pointing this out! I was able to get my needed versions working from this! |
Do not uninstall rdpwrapper after you update the in. Find your build of
windows from the link, copy and paste the contents to the bottom ofyour ini
file and reboot. If you are having any permission issues or access issues,
save ini to desktop and move to ini folder once updated. stop services that
are using the ini if you can't copy/rename. Then reboot.

woops, didn't mean to do that. |
rmarzocchi84, you can launch command prompt as administrator and run "net stop termservice" to stop the active service then replace the rdpwrap.ini file in Program Files. Once you've copied your edited version there run "net start termservice". It's not necessarily for a full Windows reboot for this to become effective. Once you've took these actions run the configuration.exe again and it should show supported if the .INI settings are correct for your version. |
I did to above but I still get [not supported] on 10.0.17763.437 |
Settings listed under https://github.com/fre4kyC0de/rdpwrap resolved my issues. |
Tried all of these and still can not get it to work. I installed using install.bat as admin. I added test to the bottom of the ini file for Win 1809 17763.503, used netstop/netstart. I am still getting red "Not Supported" in RDPConf. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. |
Solved it! Used an OLDER rdwrap.ini posted somewhere (forgot source now!) |
Hello anyone has ini file for 18362.145 |
I noticed that WIN 10' version 10.0.16299.1087 only works with Wrapper v1.5. Although showned as "fully supported" in RDPConf version 1.6.2, it did not work. |
Hi, How do you reuse this ini file? Wher to put it? What to execute? Regards slawek |
Hello
You turn off rdp service and you replace the in file

Solved it! Used an OLDER rdwrap.ini posted somewhere (forgot source now!)
rdpwrap.zip<https://github.com/stascorp/rdpwrap/files/3225298/rdpwrap.zip>
Even though this was posted as useful for 17763.437 I found it works with 17763.503
Hi,
How do you reuse this ini file? Wher to put it? What to execute?

Hi can anyone please tell me if there is an update for the ini file for version 10.0.18362.836 ??? |
Hello,
I'm in need of new INI settings to allow RDP Wrapper to work for the following Win10 builds/ubr.
1703 - 10.0.15063.1746
1709 - 10.0.16299.1087
1809 - 10.0.17763.437
Thank you!
Also, if there is any documentation as to how to figure out the settings needed in the INI it would be much appreciated!
