The Meeting House Alexa Skill

This skill is currently limited to playing the most recent teaching, future updates will allow us to play content based on topics, speaker or other variables. It will also eventually be able to return other data including: dates/times, home church info and kid max info.

To setup the alexa skill in your personal AWS

1. Following the instructions at: https://developer.amazon.com/docs/smapi/quick-start-alexa-skills-kit-command-line-interface.html to install Node, NPM, ASK CLI, AWS IAM User
2. Run: git clone https://github.com/themeetinghouse/alexa.git
3. Run: ask deploy

To run your alexa skill in AWS

1. Go to https://developer.amazon.com/alexa/console/ask
2. Click on The Meeting House skill
3. Click on test

1. From the command line type ask dialog --locale en-us
