Current state of things:

  • most of the components used in streaming-system are ported
  • firewire component needs kuscheduler effect to be ported
  • ugly components are ported, will be merged after testing done
  • there are gstreamer warnings (which are there in gst-switch as well)
  • there's no admin ui
  • some unit/integration tests need to be fixed
  • need to package for debian
  • there are some small FIXMEs here and there

@mithro @CarlFK It would be nice if someone could test this with streaming-system. I'd love to fix issues needed for merge.
