refactor(core): update typings for NodeViews to be accurate to implementation #5483

Following suit from this PR #5487

I needed to pull the thread to unravel all of these typings to make them correct & sensible again.

Implementation Approach

Mostly to do with typings rather than implementation. Although it does add selection handling to vue's implementation too
