This PR adds a few utility functions for processing and visualizing the results output by Polaris. Many of these functions require
plotlywhich has been added to the requirements file. Unit tests have been added for the functions added in this PR that don't output a figure. This PR include also includes a minor change to a Polaris application docstring.
