This contains the initial pre-release build of Vessel. This build contains the initial framework which has been tested against various Hadoop installations and using various job configurations.

It's marked as pre-release due to being a pre-v1.0.0 release, but it should be safe enough to use in production applications as long as you have unit tests around your usage. It has not made the v1.x line yet as there are still some v1.x feature requirements to get into the project first, which may potentially modify the existing API - so it's best to make this explicit in versioning.
