User story

Test and integrated with the (in testing/development) WooCommerce Navigation.

Still being tested and may be delayed so I'm putting in the backlog for now.

Technical

Need to handle the Reports > Programs and Reports > Products "tabs" - with the new navigation the tabs are not needed anymore because more nesting is available.

I started a little bit of testing on this. I managed to enable the new WooCommerce navigation experience, but our plugin does not show up under the Marketing section in the side bar. See image below. Will continue looking into it.

Seems like we need some PHP effort to make our plugin opt-in to the WooCommerce new navigation experience - see the following WC docs:

I will try to look into it, unless we have someone (PHP expert) able to pick this up and work on it.

Sorry for the slow reply. @j111q will probably be able to confirm with certainty but I believe in the new nav experience no extensions will appear under marketing. All extensions appear under a separate menu (Plugins or Extensions - I can't remember off the top of my head)

YES confirmed, it will be under Extensions - All extensions that require a navigation menu item will appear under Extensions.

@jconroy @j111q , yup no problem, I found out about those in the WooCommerce documentation links that I posted. 👌
