Hello this happened when I started it up for the first time. I have found the file ~/.vim/bundle/YouCompleteMe/cpp/ycm/.ycm_extra_conf.py so I wonder if it should reside somewhere else?

Ok, that error was due to having an assignment to d in my .vimrc.

It seems to work like a charm now, once I get used to it, and have read your docs. This is something I have craved.

Thanks a whole lot!

Hi McUsr, I am getting the same message, but I don't understand what you mean with "that error was due to having an assignment to d in my .vimrc"? Thank you for any clarifications you can provide!

Hello.

I probably had an assignment to the d key, with the leader key or whatever.
Now I have made and exclusive symbolic link to the root of my project to
the .py file I have tinkered with, and it works great!

Cheers

Tommy
