Introduction

Travel Buddy is an Android application that helps people to find companies to travel with. Just imagine the situation that you want to have a nice trip but are unable to find a friend who is available or agree with you on the same destination. Will you give up the plan? No way. Why not try our Travel Buddy? By using Travel Buddy, it is as easy as 1, 2, 3 to find people who have the same idea with you. You are able to chat with each other and then decide if you would like to have a great journey together.

Get started

1. Download Android Studio if you do not have it installed yet.

2. Clone the project with Git

git clone [email protected]:ycnie/Travel-Buddy.git

3. Register your project with Firebase platform

4. Attain your google-services.json file and put it under the app folder.

5. Sign up for Google API, and get your API Key. Then update gradle.properties file with your new key.

6. Please leave out the message that informs you of updating the gradle version for this project because some of our libraries are not compatible with the latest version.

7. Just run it.
