Slow game for the first few minutes

When I join a server, the game runs extremely slowly at about 3-4 fps. After a few minutes on the server, the performance improves to 60 fps.

This happens to me when i enable Global Illumination :

You could try turning it off on Startup Screen.

Would you mind telling us your GPU and what GPU driver are you using?

Intel graphics 500, and disabling global illumination worked
