Example results without the revert (not 100% reproduction rate but the DSP panic is hit still at a very high rate and most test cases are failing on Intel MTL): |

So alternative to this revert is #68493 but it has still review comments open. Getting one of the solutions merged fairly quickly would be appreciated given this issue is hit at high rate in SOF public CI. |
