Download Map page blocks /geoserver by default #160
Comments
This behavior is "to spec" in some circumstances, such as if the viewing user does not have permission to read the layer. Can you provide steps to reproduce this in which a layer is world readable (for example) and this happens? Alternatively, what user interface queues could make this functionality less confusing? |
I'm seeing this against a fresh 1.2alpha2 install. I have a map that has 2 layers in it. Im the owner of both of the layers and Im the one who created the map. In the map info page, both of the layers are not linked to their layer info page https://skitch.com/ortelius/eb16k/geonode and when I try to download them, I am told that I am not allowed to download them because they are "not available directly from this geonode". https://skitch.com/ortelius/eb16s/geonode I will take on solving this one. |

Downloading the layers for a map blocks layers from /geoserver by default with the following message.
Finally, the map contains these layers which will not be downloaded because they are not available directly from this GeoNode:
/geoserver/wms?layers=tsudat:batemans_bay_AOI_depth_max
