it seems that the map is not displaying the points on IE8 Windows 7 on rsr.akvo.org:

The maps are displaying the points in Akvo Pages:

There's an issue with opening project summaries and organisation summaries from the maps now, as the markers don't let users interact with them. One other minor issue is that the scroll wheel zooming apppears to have been disabled also.

@KasperBrandt I think this is related to the changes for this issue, but I could be wrong.

Tested on UAT - organisation and project summaries now open as expected and the scroll is behaving correctly again.

@adriancollier the map on the project page works correctly now on IE8, however the all projects map and the all orgs map don't work:

ie8allprojs

Not sure if this is worth fixing prior to release or should be addressed in a different issue (or addressed at all)?

@rumca @adriancollier Correct, all projects and organisations maps are reverted back to the original so that they have clickable markers again. But as a result, they don't work in IE8.. I would need a bit more time to add clickable markers to the IE8 implementation as well.

OK, let's move any outstanding items from here into a new issue. We have some thoughts about heandling IE8 now that it's discontinued support from Microsoft too.

Merging this as the other one was code reviewed, and I want it gone from the UI 👅
