This will categorically prevent compatibility fractures such as #2370 going forward.

Did you also consider using retract go.mod directive?
I know that these things happen, but the retract directive could help module users identify the root cause much faster.

Upgrade **all** aws-sdk-go-v2 modules

This is a workaround to counteract a "not found, ResolveEndpoint V2"
error as advised by maintainers in the upstream issue:
aws/aws-sdk-go-v2#2370 (comment)

The bug will be solved in aws/aws-sdk-go-v2#2507
