As reported here on GitHub by @mlocati in #6817 and on Crowdin by @norah486 and @akerbeltz, for languages such as Italian, Spanish and Scottish Gaelic where it would be desirable to display different strings for the singular and plural instances of months in narrow form, it's not currently possible to do that.
I used ChatGPT to come up with this small PR which hopefully fixes that.
It passes CI but I haven't tested it.
