Export personal key to another device

Kontalk supports one personal key to be used at a given time. If you register from another device with the same phone number, Kontalk will use a new key, therefore the old one will become invalid.

To overcome this problem, you need to export your key from the old device and copy it to the new one.

1. Open Kontalk settings
2. Choose "Maintenance > Export personal key"
3. Choose a new password to encrypt the key or insert the previously chosen password
4. A new file will appear in your external storage, called kontalk-keys.zip
5. Transfer the zip file to the new device and move it to the same location
6. Open Kontalk registration screen in the new device
7. Choose Menu > Import key
8. Insert the password you entered in the old device
9. Proceed with registration instructions normally
