While FLARM datalink NMEA is the most common GA traffic awareness protocol in Europe with support from major navigation software products, such as:

  • SeeYou Mobile, XCSoar, LK8000, Cumulus, ... ;
  • SkyDemon, EasyVFR, RunwayHD, AirNavigationPro, ...

... there is also wide North America market where Garmin GDL90 protocol is dominating for ADS-B solutions.
A variety of EFB software is able to "speak" this language:

  • ForeFlight, Seattle Avionics FlyQ, AvNav EFB, Naviator, WingX Pro,
  • Avare, FltPlan Go, AerovieReports, AvPlan, iFly GPS, DroidEFB,...

SoftRF firmware has support to deliver traffic information toward connected software application using the GDL90 datalink protocol.

Only the minimal required amount of message types is currently implemented:

  • Heartbeat ;
  • Ownership Report ;
