I have a slight preference for using ISO 8601 style calendar dates (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_8601#Calendar_dates) instead of dates with names of months in them. |
I wanted to use the name of months to avoid any ambiguity between mm/dd vs. dd/mm, given how many users we have outside the US. |

Some changes:
--priorand--newversions as CLI args, e.g.--prior 2.1.0 --new 2.2.0.dev0. Before, it asked for the prior Git tag as aninput()once the script was running.(Nov 20, 2020), rather than(11/20/20). This avoids any confusion for non-US users.[ci skip-rust]
