u360gts configurator v4.3.1 - RC1
This is a minor release, but it includes some significant changes.
Bugfixes
- Once the user selects one of the available IPs in the drop-down list of the Client: field, the IP list is refreshed and the first IP in the list is set as selected. Now the list is no longer refreshed and the IP that the user has selected is not modified.
u360gts configurator v4.3.0
New features
UPD protocol
Added support for udp protocol over the network.
As we already know, we can replace the Bluetooth modules with ESP modules working as serial-WiFi bridges, one of them connected to the personal computer through a USB-TTL adapter, and the other connected to the antenna tracker.
This new feature allows us to use the WiFi network of the personal computer to be able to establish serial communication with the antenna tracker. Only one ESP module is needed, fiscally connected to the antenna tracker, working as UDP server and access point. No more extra ESP module, USB-TTL adapter, and wires are needed to configure the u360gts antenna tracker.
In order to be able to receive telemetry, we need a ESP module connected to our radio controller, that should be configured as station mode and UDP client. This would provide more robustness for serial communications than using Bluetooth modules, and longer distances between the pilot and the u360gts antenna tracker.
Usage
The user should select 'udp' option from the drop-down list of ports. Two new input fields will be shown, Server and Port, and a drop-down list, the Client:
- Server is the IP address of the UDP Server (the antenna tracker).
- Port is the UDP port configured in both sides (server and client).
- Client is the local IP of the personal computer.
Once those values are provided, clic on Connect.
If everything is well configured and it goes well, we may operate in the same way as older versions.
Example:
One ESP module configured as UPD server and access point with DHCP enabled, fisically connected to the antenna tracker. Its IP address is 192.168.1.1, and serves UPD through port number 9876.
A personal computer with its WiFi adapter configured as HDCP Client. Its local IP is provided by de DHCP server (the ESP module of the antenna tracker), in the range of 192.168.1.0/24.
Known bugs
- If your computer has several network interfaces, only first available IP is selected. In order to avoid issues, please disable those interfaces you are not using for configuration. This minor bug will be solved soon.

Lastest selected bauds are stored on program data base, the user do not need to select it manually from the drop down list every time the configurator is initialized. Also, if bauds are changed from telemetry bauds drop down list by user, and then presses save button, it will be also changed in connection drop down list for reconnecting.
-
Customized home coordinates are stored on program database, the user will no need to enter them more times.

u360gts configurator v4.0
We are glad to present to you u360gts configurator next generation, fully renewed, which will highly improve user experience, thanks to Hector Narbona's invaluable contribution.
This new version supports u360gts firmware 9.x and 10.x families, however, some features like GPS health indicator might not properly work with them, and would be fully supported as of version 11.
Releases notes
- More information about connection, configuration, processes... is shown in log window.
- The user may select the preferred language (English and Spanish), and other languages could be added in the future (user contribution is necessary).
- Automatic connection to CLI mode after saving the configuration.
- The simulator now shows the aircraft icon on the map.
- Releases notes are shown after loading the firmware online.
- User may select between stable and unstable firmware versions.
- The parameters are arranged in different sections more conveniently.
...
And much more ...
If you are an iNav / Clenaflight / Betaflight user, you will feel much more comfortable using the configurator from now on.

u360gts configurator v2.5
Release notes
This configurator version is specially designed for configuring stable firmware version 10.0. If you try it with older firmware versions, or with 10.0-CRx versions, it won't work properly.
New features
Some new graphical user interface controls has been added for setting parameters:
- telemetry_provider (ingoing telemetry)
- telemetry_home (ingoing telemetry)
for features:
- softserial
- telemetry (outgoing telemetry)
for serial command (outgoing telemetry):
- port
- protocol
- baudrate
Configuring protocol translation of incoming telemetry to a different protocol in order to be relayed to external devices is now very easy. You won't type any more the serial command on CLI console, neither have to remember numbers.
This feature allows feeding external devices, like personal computer, tablets and smartphones, ... with the telemetry data that the antenna tracker is processing. This demostration video shows how to do it.
In Simulator tool, the user now may:
- Provide latitude and longitude of the desired home position.
- Select Fix Type value in order to test visualization on OLED.
- Monitoring the course.
- NMEA protocol provides course data sending RMC frames.
Bugfixes
- AUTODETECT feature disabled after restoring from backups.
- Issues when selecting values on drop-down lists
