This page descriptions of the details of the output data formats
- 1-D I(Q) output

These are the canSAS output formats as defined in 2012. Descriptions of the XML 1D output format and the HDF5/Nexus 2D output format are given at the canSAS link above. These output formats have been implemented in the macros are available for al instruments.
HDF5/Nexus format is the preferred output format for reduced VSANS data since all detector panels and a single unified panel are included in a single output file. The output file is Nexus compliant and can be read into Igor or sasView for analysis.
