Looks awesome! Thanks so much for tackling this! The only real thing I'd want changed is that currently some information is exposed that isn't relevant to users (institutionId, showFacebookWall, @search.score...) should be filtered out. |

Uh, this API got hairy fast. I still haven't implemented everything (i.e. document downloads), but I'm submitting this PR now so I can get some feedback before I further dig myself into a hole.
