User Guide: User Management
user-administrators can assign the roles to users via My Archive > Manage roles:

simple user (=all other roles romved: can bookmark, save and edit charters, submit modified charters to the moderator for publication, create and publish own collections, create image annotations and submit them to the moderator for publication)

moderator (can publish a submitted new version of a charter from 'their' users)

metadata-manager (can add data and manage archive/fonds/collection level information)

html-author (can modify static texts)

translator (can modify translations of system messages)

user-administrator (can assign and remove roles to users)

archivist of a specific archive/collection (the archive can be assigned through choosing any of the archives and clicking on "Manage Archivists")
