I too am having the problem of sending icloud mail and getting similar error messages. Receiving icloud mail is working great. Sending & receiving email from either of my gmail accounts is also great. I am using Nylas Mail Version 1.0.21 (1.0.21) and have Mac OS Sierra Version 10.12.4 Beta (16E144f). This error has been going on for sometime. The updates have not helped. I have reinstalled multiple times to no avail.

operating system : Mac - Sierra OS 10.12.3
Nylas Mail version : v1.0.21. did not have the problem with Nylas N1 and custom sync-engine.
third-party plugins installed : none
issue related to a specific email provider : happens only on my mail.com account (IMAP). I have another IMAP account with a different provider and email can be sent OK (although there is another bug afterwards (#3222).
issue reproducibility : happens every time I send a mail, regarding subject, recipient or wether there is a signature or not.

Kinda confusing, looks like they don't care. However it must be issue just for a few ppl, not massive one. For my curiosity, have you tested Nylas before it became free? |

not tried it before at all. When I get a chance I'm going to delete the app
and re-install. Has anyone tried that yet?

It appears that I am able to send emails. I've only tried sending to one of my other emails so hopefully you will recieve this one. I do have a question about bcc or cc. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to do it. I've clicked on the bcc and cc in the top right corner but that doesn't seem to help. Is the issue related to a specific email provider (Gmail, Exchange, etc.)?

Is the issue reproducible with a particular attachment, message, signature, etc?
yes. I cannot send a message from iCloud account, though I do receive them just fine. The account is authorized via app specific password
I should mention that this is happening on all 3 of my Mac, all with different app specific passwords. Also, on my fedora 24 box using the Thunderbird email client my app specific password works fine as does the Canary.app on all my Macs...I simply like the Nylas GUI way more than Canary since it is very similar to Apple's native Mail.app
