= Changes in 2.3.2 =

  January 5, 2013 - version 2.3.2

  * Changes

    * #138 Revert Timeout change unintentionally included in v2.3.1. It's
      reported that the change causes background processes not terminated
      properly.

= Changes in 2.3.1 =

  January 1, 2013 - version 2.3.1

  * Changes

    * #137 Signing key is expiring for cacert_sha1.p7s.
      Deleted p7s signature check for default cacerts. Sorry for many troubles
      in the past. This feature is not useful without having online/real-time
      CA certs update but I don't think I can implement it in near future.
      Users depend on this signature check (who puts cacert.p7s in R/W
      filesystem and ssl_config.rb in R/O filesystem) should take care the
      tampering by themself.

  * Bug fixes

    * #122 Support IPv6 address in URI

= Changes in 2.3.0 =

  October 10, 2012 - version 2.3.0

    * Features

      * Added debug mode CLI. bin/httpclient is installed as CLI.
          Usage: 1) % httpclient get https://www.google.co.jp/ q=ruby
          Usage: 2) %httpclient
        For 1) it issues a GET request to the given URI and shows the wiredump
        and the parsed result. For 2) it invokes irb shell with the binding
        that has a HTTPClient as 'self'. You can call HTTPClient instance
        methods like;
          > get "https://www.google.co.jp/", :q => :ruby

      * #119 Addressable gem support (only if it exists); should handle IRI
        properly.

    * Bug fixes

      * #115 Cookies couldn't work properly if the path in an URI is ommited.
      * #112, #117 Proper handling of sized IO (the IO object that responds to
        :size) for chunked POST. HTTPClient did read till EOF even if the
        given IO has :size method.
      * Handle '303 See Other' properly. RFC2616 says it should be redirected
        with GET.
      * #116 Fix "100-continue" support. It was just ignored.
      * #118 Support for boolean values when making POST/PUT requests with
        multiipart/form Content-Type.
      * #110 Allows leading dots in no_proxy hostname suffixes.

      - Support version range with "~", such as cpanm DBI~">= 1.0, < 2.0"
      - Enable metacpan release search when exact version is given (and when mirror-only is not specified)
        i.e. cpanm [email protected] will fetch the exact release based on metacpan

1.59_01 Thu Jan 31 09:54:50 PST 2013
   [New Features]
      - Added a proper support for version range in MYMETA files using CPAN::Meta::Requirements
      - Skip installing modules when found versions from CPAN doesn't satisfy the requirement, rather
        than proceeding as if it is ok. For instance, if a ditribution X requires Y >= 1.1 and Y on
        CPAN (or your CPAN mirror) has 1.0, cpanm will just complain and stop installing it.
      - Better cpanfile end-to-end support
      - Upgraded fatpacked modules to the latest

= Changes in 2.3.2 =

  January 5, 2013 - version 2.3.2

  * Changes

    * #138 Revert Timeout change unintentionally included in v2.3.1. It's
      reported that the change causes background processes not terminated
      properly.

= Changes in 2.3.1 =

  January 1, 2013 - version 2.3.1

  * Changes

  * Bug fixes

    * #122 Support IPv6 address in URI

= Changes in 2.3.0 =

  October 10, 2012 - version 2.3.0

    * Features

You can call HTTPClient instance
        methods like;
          > get "https://www.google.co.jp/", :q => :ruby

      * #119 Addressable gem support (only if it exists); should handle IRI
        properly.

    * Bug fixes

      * #110 Allows leading dots in no_proxy hostname suffixes.

        than proceeding as if it is ok. For instance, if a ditribution X requires Y >= 1.1 and Y on
        CPAN (or your CPAN mirror) has 1.0, cpanm will just complain and stop installing it.
      - Better cpanfile end-to-end support

   fix the missing dependency with Python 2 (:mod:`singledispatch` is required
   but not installed).

Bugs fixed
----------

- Extracting configuration information from should now work when R is emitting a warning (issue #247)

- On OS X the library discovery step can yield nothing (see issue #246). A tentative fix is to issue
  a warning and keep moving.

  This can be activated with `rinterface.initr(r_preservehash=True)` (default
  is `False`.

- :class:`GGPlot` object getting a method :meth:`save`
  mirroring R's `ggplot2::ggsave()`.

- The conversion system is now using generics/single dispatch.

- New module :mod:`rpy2.ipython.html` with HTML display for rpy2 objects

- [Experimental] New function :func:`robjects.methods.rs4instance_factory`
  to type RS4 objects with more specificity.

Changes
-------

- The script `setup.py` was rewritten for clarity and ease of maintenance.
  Now it only uses `setuptools`.

Release 2.4.4
=============

Bugs fixed
----------

- Use `input` rather than `raw_input` in the default console callback
  with Python 3 (fixes issue #222)

- Issues with conversions, pandas, and rmagic (fixes issue #218 and more)

Release 2.4.3

- Fixed documentation (missing `import`) (issue #213)

Release 2.4.2
=============

Bugs fixed

  the conversion for Pandas was activated. (Issue #207)

Release 2.4.1
=============

Bugs fixed
----------

- :meth:`rpy2.ipython` fixed spurious output to notebook cells.

Release 2.4.0
=============

Changes
-------

- Conversion system slightly changed, with the optional
  conversions for :mod:`numpy` and :mod:`pandas` modified
  accordingly. The changes should only matter if using
  third-party conversion functions.

- The Python 3 version is now a first class citizen. `2to3`
  is no longer used, and the code base is made directly
  compatible with Python. This lowers significantly the
  installation time with Python 3
  (which matters when developping rpy2).

- The default options to initialize R (`rpy2.rinterface.initoptions') are no longer
  `('rpy2', '--quiet', '--vanilla', '--no-save')` but now
  `('rpy2', '--quiet', '--no-save')`.

- :class:`robjects.vectors.ListVector` can be instanciated from
  any objects with a method `items()` with the expectation that the method
  returns an iterable of (name, value) tuples, or even be an iterable
  of (name, value) tuples.

New features
------------

- For instances of :class:`rpy2.robjects.Function`,
  the `__doc__` is now a property fetching information
  about the parameters in the R signature.

- Convenience function :func:`rpy2.robjects.packages.data`
  to extract the datasets in an R pacakges

- :mod:`ipython`'s `rmagic` is now part of :mod:`rpy`. To use, `%load_ext
  rpy2.ipython` from within IPython.

- new method :meth:`rpy2.rinterface.SexpEnvironment.keys`, returnings
  the names in the environment as a tuple of Python strings.

- convenience class :class:`robjects.packages.InstalledPackages`, with a companion function
  :func:`robjects.packages.isinstalled`.

- new class :class:`rinterface.SexpSymbol` to represent R symbols

Bugs fixed
----------

- :meth:`rpy2.rinterface.Sexp.do_slot` was crashing when
  the parameter was an empty string (PR #155)

Release 2.3.10
==============

Bugs fixed
----------

- `setup.py build` was broken when new R compiled with OpenMP (Issue #183)

Release 2.3.9
=============

- Changes in pandas 0.13.0 broke the rpy2 conversion layer (Issue #173)

Release 2.3.8
=============

Bugs fixed
----------

- Crash with R-3.0.2. Changes in R-3.0.2's C API coupled to a strange behaviour
  with R promises caused the problem. (PR #150)

Release 2.3.7
=============

Bugs fixed
----------

- ggplot2's "guides" were missing

- ggplot2's "theme_classic" was missing (PR #143)

- ggplot2's "element_rect" was missing (PR #144)

- :func:`rpy2.interactive.packages` was broken (PR #142)

Release 2.3.6
=============

Bugs fixed
----------

- Several reports of segfault on OS X (since rpy2-2.3.1 - PR #109)

- More fixes in converting `DataFrames` with dates from `pandas`

Relase 2.3.5
============

Bugs fixed
----------

- Missing mapping to ggplot2's `scale_shape_discrete` function

- Better handling of dates in Pandas

- Constructor for POSIXct improved (and fixed)

Changes
-------

- The attribute :attr:`rclass` is no longer read-only and can be set
  (since R allows it)

- Importing the module :mod:`rpy2.interactive` no longer activates
  event processing by default (triggering concurrency errors
  when used with ipython).

New features
------------

- New module :mod:`rpy2.interactive.ipython` (so far plotting
  automatically a ggplot2 figure in the iPython's console)

- It is now possible to set the :attr:`rclass`.

Relase 2.3.4
============

Bugs fixed
----------

- Spurious error when running unit tests with Python 3 and numpy
  installed

- Missing mapping to ggplot2's `geom_dotplot` function

- Warnings are not longer printed (see Changes below)

Changes
-------

- Bumped target version of ggplot2 to 0.9.3.1

- Warnings are not longer printed. The C-level function in R became
  hidden in R-3.0, and the cost of an R-level check/print is relatively
  high if the R code called is very short. This might evolve into
  printing warnings only if interactive mode in Python (if this can
  be checked reliably).

Release 2.3.3
=============

Bugs fixed
----------

- Some of the data.frames converted from :mod:`pandas` were triggering
  a :class:`TypeError` when calling :func:`repr`

- In :mod:`rpy2.robjects.lib.ggplot2`, a mapping to `coord_fixed` was
  missing (PR #120)

- Using the parameter `lib_loc` in a call to
  :func:`rpy2.robjects.packages.importr` was resulting in an error (PR #119)

- Creating a `layer` through the `rpy2.robjects.lib.ggplot2` interface did
  not accept parameters (PR #122)

- Testing the Python version was crashing of a number of unsupported Python
  versions (<= 2.6) (PR #117)

New features
------------

- New module pandas2ri to convert from mod:`pandas` `DataFrame` objects

- New classes :class:`rpy2.robjects.lib.grid.Unit` and
  :class:`rpy2.robjects.lib.grid.Gpar` to model their counterparts in
  R's `grid` package as they were previously missing from rpy2.

Release 2.3.2
=============

Bug fixed
---------

- Building on Win64 (pull request #6)

- Fetching data from an R package through `importr` was masking
  any R object called `data` in that package. The data are now
  under the attribute name `__rdata__`. This is not completely
  safe either, although much less likely, a warning will
  be issued if still masking anything.

Changes
-------

- More informative error message when failing to build because `R CMD config`
  does not return what is expected

Release 2.3.1
=============

Bugs fixed
----------

- default console print callback with Python (issue #112 linked to it)

- deprecation warnings with ggplot2 (issue #111 and contributed patch)

## 1.3.2

### Changes

  - now works and passes tests with Lua 5.3
  - utils.import will NOT override global symbols (import 'math' caused global type() to be clobbered)
  - Updated pl.dir.file_op to return true on success and false on failure...
  - workaround for issues with pl.lapp with amalg.lua - will look at global LAPP_SCRIPT if arg[0] is nil

### Fixes

  - func was broken: do NOT use ipairs to iterate if __index is overriden!
  - issue #133 pretty.read (naively) confused by unbalanced brackets
  - xml attribute underscore fix for simple parser
  - Fix path.normpath
  - lexer: fix parsing block comments/string. fix hang on empty string.
  - Fixed utils.execute returning different values for Lua 5.1 and Lua 5.2
  - Issue #97; fixed attempt to put a month into a day
  - problem with tablex.count_map with custom comparison

### Features

  - Add Python style url module for quote and unquote.
  - stringx.quote_string, which scans for embedded long-string quote matches and escapes them by creating a long-string quote.
  - issue #117: tablex.range now works with decreasing numbers, consistent with numerical for loop
  - utils.import will NOT override global symbols (import 'math' caused global type() to be clobbered)
  - issue #125: DOCTYPE ignored in xml documents as well
  - Allow XML tostring() function to customize the default prefacing with <?xml...>
  - More Robust Quoted Strings
  - lapp: improved detection of unsupported short flags

## 1.3.0

### Changes

  - class: RIP base method - not possible to implement correctly
  - lapp: short flags can now always be followed directly by their value, for instance,
`-I/usr/include/lua/5.1`
  - Date: new explicit `Date.Interval` class; `toUTC/toLocal` return new object; `Date.__tostring`
always returns ISO 8601 times for exact serialization. `+/-` explicit operators. Date objects
are explicitly flagged as being UTC or not.

### Fixes

  - class: super method fixed.
  - Date: DST is now accounted for properly.
  - Date: weekday calculation borked.

### Features

  - All tests pass with no-5.1-compatible Lua 5.2; now always uses `utils.load` and
`utils.unpack` is always available.
  - types: new module containing `utils.is_xxx` methods plus new `to_bool`.
  - class: can be passed methods in a table (see `test=klass.lua`). This is
particularly convenient for using from Moonscript.
  - general documentation improvements, e.g `class`

## 1.2.1

### Changes

  - utils.set(get)fenv always defined (_not_ set as globals for 5.2 anymore!).
    These are defined in new module pl.compat, but still available through utils.
  - class.Frodo now puts 'Frodo' in _current environment_

### Fixes

  - lapp.add_type was broken (Pete Kazmier)
  - class broke with classes that redefined __newindex
  - Set.isdisjoint was broken because of misspelling; default ctor Set() now works as expected
  - tablex.transform was broken; result now has same keys as original (CoolistheName007)
  - xml match not handling empty matches (royalbee)
  - pl.strict: assigning nil to global declares it, as God intended. (Pierre Chapuis)
  - tests all work with pl.strict
  - 5.2 compatible load now respects mode
  - tablex.difference thought that a value of `false` meant 'not present' (Andrew Starke)

### Features

  - tablex.sort(t) iterates over sorted keys, tablex.sortv(t) iterates over sorted values (Pete Kazmier)
  - tablex.readonly(t) creates a read-only proxy for a table (John Schember)
  - utils.is_empty(o) true if o==nil, o is an empty table, or o is an empty string (John Schember)
  - utils.executeex(cmd,bin) returns true if successful, return code, plus stdout and stderr output as strings. (tieske)
  - class method base for calling inherited methods (theypsilon)
  - class supports pre-constructor _create for making a custom self (used in pl.List)
  - xml HTML mode improvements - can parse non-trivial well-formed HTML documents.
    xml.parsehtml is a parse function, no longer a flag
  - if a LOM document has ordered attributes, use these when stringifying
  - xml.tostring has yet another extra parm to force prefacing with <?xml...>
  - lapp boolean flags may have `true` default
  - lapp slack mode where 'short' flags can be multi-char
  - test.asserteq etc take extra arg, which is extra level where error must be reported at
  - path.currentdir,chdir,rmdir,mkdir and dir as alias to lfs are exported; no dependencies on luafilesystem outside pl.path, making it easier to plug in different implementations.

    (issue #31).
  * Added the Outline tag to TrayStyle to specify the color of tray outlines.
  * To conform with GNU standards, running "make install" no longer strips the
    executable. To strip the executable, "make install?strip" can be used
    instead.
  * Added the ability to swallow the same client into a tray multiple times.
  * Added the ability to specify where the tray is hidden when auto-hide is
    enabled (issue #34).
  * Menu Includes are now loaded dynamically when a menu is shown rather than
    when JWM starts.
  * Added the sendu, sendd, sendl and sendr key bindings to send a window to a
    different desktop (issue #119).
  * Added the maxh, maxv, maxtop, maxbottom, maxleft and maxright key bindings
    (issues #120 and #157).
  * Added the ability to have separate actions per mouse button for tray
    buttons (issue #171). This is accomplished using the Button tag. For
    example:
    <TrayButton label="My Button">
      <Button mask="1">
        exec:program_for_left_click
      </Button>
      <Button mask="45">
        exec:program_for_scroll_wheel
      </Button>
    </TrayButton>
    The Button tags are optional. By default the action will use mouse button
    mask 123.
  * Add the ability to have separate actions per mouse button for clock tray
    components (issue #171) and the ability to have clock tray components run
    actions like tray buttons (issue #172).
  * Add support for more than 10 menus. Now 26 additional menus can be defined
    using the letters a through z.

Configuration Changes

The following XSLT is available to update JWM v2.2 configuration files for use
with JWM v2.3: jwm-2.3.xslt.

To convert an existing v2.2 configuration file using xsltproc, run:

cp ~/.jwmrc ~/.jwmrc.old
xsltproc jwm-2.3.xslt ~/.jwmrc.old > ~/.jwmrc

If you have multiple configuration files, it may be necessary to apply the XSLT
to some or all of them depending on what configuration options are stored in
the file.

A summary of configuration changes follows.

  * The ActiveBackground and ActiveForeground tags have been replaced by
    Background and Foreground under the Active tag. This applies to TrayStyle,
    TaskListStyle, TrayButtonStyle, PagerStyle, and MenuStyle.
  * The Inactive tag under WindowStyle has been removed. The tags that used to
    go within this tag now go directly under the WindowStyle tag.
  * The autohide attribute in Tray now determines where the tray should be
    hidden (left, right, top, bottom, or off) instead of true or false.
  * Now actions in the Clock tag must be prefixed with exec: to run an external
    program.

See the configuration documentation for documentation on all configuration
options.

NEWS:
Version 2.5.3
-------------
- Updated zoneinfo to 2016d
- Fixed parser bug where unambiguous datetimes fail to parse when dayfirst is
  set to true. (gh issue #233, pr #234)
- Bug in zoneinfo file on platforms such as Google App Engine which do not
  do not allow importing of subprocess.check_call was reported and fixed by
  @savraj (gh issue #239, gh pr #240)
- Fixed incorrect version in documentation (gh issue #235, pr #243)

Version 2.5.2
-------------
- Updated zoneinfo to 2016c
- Fixed parser bug where yearfirst and dayfirst parameters were not being
  respected when no separator was present. (gh issue #81 and #217, pr #229)

Version 2.5.1
-------------
- Updated zoneinfo to 2016b
- Changed MANIFEST.in to explicitly include test suite in source distributions,
  with help from @koobs (gh issue #193, pr #194, #201, #221)
- Explicitly set all line-endings to LF, except for the NEWS file, on a
  per-repository basis (gh pr #218)
- Fixed an issue with improper caching behavior in rruleset objects (gh issue
  #104, pr #207)
- Changed to an explicit error when rrulestr strings contain a missing BYDAY
  (gh issue #162, pr #211)
- tzfile now correctly handles files containing leapcnt (although the leapcnt
  information is not actually used). Contributed by @hjoukl (gh issue #146, pr
  #147)
- Fixed recursive import issue with tz module (gh pr #204)
- Added compatibility between tzwin objects and datetime.time objects (gh issue
  #216, gh pr #219)
- Refactored monolithic test suite by module (gh issue #61, pr #200 and #206)
- Improved test coverage in the relativedelta module (gh pr #215)
- Adjusted documentation to reflect possibly counter-intuitive properties of
  RFC-5545-compliant rrules, and other documentation improvements in the rrule
  module (gh issue #105, gh issue #149 - pointer to the solution by @phep,
  pr #213).

Version 2.5.0
-------------
- Updated zoneinfo to 2016a
- zoneinfo_metadata file version increased to 2.0 - the updated updatezinfo.py
  script will work with older zoneinfo_metadata.json files, but new metadata
  files will not work with older updatezinfo.py versions. Additionally, we have
  started hosting our own mirror of the Olson databases on a github pages
  site (https://dateutil.github.io/tzdata/) (gh pr #183)
- dateutil zoneinfo tarballs now contain the full zoneinfo_metadata file used
  to generate them. (gh issue #27, gh pr #85)
- relativedelta can now be safely subclassed without derived objects reverting
  to base relativedelta objects as a result of arithmetic operations.
  (lp:1010199, gh issue #44, pr #49)
- relativedelta 'weeks' parameter can now be set and retrieved as a property of
  relativedelta instances. (lp: 727525, gh issue #45, pr #49)
- relativedelta now explicitly supports fractional relative weeks, days, hours,
  minutes and seconds. Fractional values in absolute parameters (year, day, etc)
  are now deprecated. (gh issue #40, pr #190)
- relativedelta objects previously did not use microseconds to determine of two
  relativedelta objects were equal. This oversight has been corrected.

cmark 0.26.1

@jgm jgm released this Jul 16, 2016 . 18 commits to master since this release

  * Removed unnecessary typedef that caused build failure on some platforms.
  * Use $(MAKE) in Makefile instead of hardcoded make (#146, Tobias Kortkamp).

cmark 0.26.0

@jgm jgm released this Jul 15, 2016 . 23 commits to master since this release

  * Implement spec changes for list items:
      + Empty list items cannot interrupt paragraphs.
      + Ordered lists cannot interrupt paragraphs unless they start with 1.
      + Removed "two blank lines break out of a list" feature.
  * Fix sourcepos for blockquotes (#142).
  * Fix sourcepos for atx headers (#141).
  * Fix ATX headers and thematic breaks to allow tabs as well as spaces.
  * Fix chunk_set_cstr with suffix of current string (#139, Nick Wellnhofer).
    It's possible that cmark_chunk_set_cstr is called with a substring (suffix)
    of the current string. Delay freeing of the chunk content to handle this
    case correctly.
  * Export targets on installation (Jonathan M?ller). This allows using them in
    other cmake projects.
  * Fix cmake warning about CMP0048 (Jonathan M?ller).
  * commonmark renderer: Ensure we don't have a blank line before a code block
    when it's the first thing in a list item.
  * Change parsing of strong/emph in response to spec changes. process_emphasis
    now gets better results in corner cases. The change is this: when
    considering matches between an interior delimiter run (one that can open
    and can close) and another delimiter run, we require that the sum of the
    lengths of the two delimiter runs mod 3 is not 0.
  * Ported Robin Stocker's changes to link parsing in commonmark/commonmark-spec#101. This
    uses a separate stack for brackets, instead of putting them on the
    delimiter stack. This avoids the need for looking through the delimiter
    stack for the next bracket.
  * cmark_reference_lookup: Return NULL if reference is null string.
  * Fix character type detection in commonmark.c (Nick Wellnhofer). Fixes test
    failures on Windows and undefined behavior.
      + Implement cmark_isalpha.
      + Check for ASCII character before implicit cast to char.
      + Use internal ctype functions in commonmark.c.
  * Better documentation of memory-freeing responsibilities. in cmark.h and its
    man page (#124).
  * Use library functions to insert nodes in emphasis/link processing.
    Previously we did this manually, which introduces many places where errors
    can creep in.
  * Correctly handle list marker followed only by spaces. Previously when a
    list marker was followed only by spaces, cmark expected the following
    content to be indented by the same number of spaces. But in this case we
    should treat the line just like a blank line and set list padding
    accordingly.
  * Fixed a number of issues relating to line wrapping.
      + Extend CMARK_OPT_NOBREAKS to all renderers and add --nobreaks.
      + Do not autowrap, regardless of width parameter, if CMARK_OPT_NOBREAKS
        is set.
      + Fixed CMARK_OPT_HARDBREAKS for LaTeX and man renderers.
      + Ensure that no auto-wrapping occurs if CMARK_OPT_NOBREAKS is enabled,
        or if output is CommonMark and CMARK_OPT_HARDBREAKS is enabled.
  * Set stdin to binary mode on Windows (Nick Wellnhofer, #113). This fixes
    EOLs when reading from stdin.
  * Add library option to render softbreaks as spaces (Pavlo Kapyshin). Note
    that the NOBREAKS option is HTML-only
  * renderer: no_linebreaks instead of no_wrap. We generally want this option
    to prohibit any breaking in things like headers (not just wraps, but
    softbreaks).
  * Coerce realurllen to int. This is an alternate solution for pull request #
    132, which introduced a new warning on the comparison (Benedict Cohen).
  * Remove unused variable link_text (Mathiew Duponchelle).
  * Improved safety checks in buffer (Vicent Marti).
  * Add new interface allowing specification of custom memory allocator for
    nodes (Vicent Marti). Added cmark_node_new_with_mem,
    cmark_parser_new_with_mem, cmark_mem to API.
  * Reduce storage size for nodes by using bit flags instead of separate
    booleans (Vicent Marti).
  * config: Add SSIZE_T compat for Win32 (Vicent Marti).
  * cmake: Global handler for OOM situations (Vicent Marti).
  * Add tests for memory exhaustion (Vicent Marti).
  * Document in man page and public header that one should use the same memory
    allocator for every node in a tree.
  * Fix ctypes in Python FFI calls (Nick Wellnhofer). This didn't cause
    problems so far because all types are 32-bit on 32-bit systems and
    arguments are passed in registers on x86-64. The wrong types could cause
    crashes on other platforms, though.
  * Remove spurious failures in roundtrip tests. In the commonmark writer we
    separate lists, and lists and indented code, using a dummy HTML comment. So
    in evaluating the round-trip tests, we now strip out these comments. We
    also normalize HTML to avoid issues having to do with line breaks.
  * Add 2016 to copyright (Kevin Burke).
  * Added to_commonmark in test/cmark.py (for round-trip tests).
  * spec_test.py - parameterize do_test with converter.
  * spec_tests.py: exit code is now sum of failures and errors. This ensures
    that a failing exit code will be given when there are errors, not just with
    failures.
  * Fixed round trip tests. Previously they actually ran cmark instead of the
    round-trip version, since there was a bug in setting the ROUNDTRIP variable
    (#131).
  * Added new roundtrip_tests.py. This replaces the old use of simple shell
    scripts. It is much faster, and more flexible. (We will be able to do
    custom normalization and skip certain tests.)
  * Fix tests under MinGW (Nick Wellnhofer).
  * Fix leak in api_test (Mathieu Duponchelle).
  * Makefile: have leakcheck stop on first error instead of going through all
    the formats and options and probably getting the same output.
  * Add regression tests (Nick Wellnhofer).

cmark 0.25.2

@jgm jgm released this Mar 26, 2016 . 114 commits to master since this release

  * Open files in binary mode (#113, Nick Wellnhofer). Now that cmark supports
    different line endings, files must be openend in binary mode on Windows.
  * Reset partially_consumed_tab on every new line (#114, Nick Wellnhofer).
  * Handle buffer split across a CRLF line ending (#117). Adds an internal
    field to the parser struct to keep track of last_buffer_ended_with_cr.
    Added test.

cmark 0.25.1

@jgm jgm released this Mar 25, 2016 . 122 commits to master since this release

  * Release with no code changes. cmark version was mistakenly set to 0.25.1 in
    the 0.25.0 release (#112), so this release just ensures that this will
    cause no confusion later.

cmark 0.25.0

@jgm jgm released this Mar 25, 2016 . 124 commits to master since this release

  * Fixed tabs in indentation (#101). This patch fixes S_advance_offset so that
    it doesn't gobble a tab character when advancing less than the width of a
    tab.
  * Added partially_consumed_tab to parser. This keeps track of when we have
    gotten partway through a tab when consuming initial indentation.
  * Simplified add_line (only need parser parameter).
  * Properly handle partially consumed tab. E.g. in

    - foo

     <TAB><TAB>bar

    we should consume two spaces from the second tab, including two spaces
    in the code block.

  * Properly handle tabs with blockquotes and fenced blocks.
  * Fixed handling of tabs in lists.
  * Clarified logic in S_advance_offset.
  * Use an assertion to check for in-range html_block_type. It's a programming
    error if the type is out of range.
  * Refactored S_processLines to make the logic easier to understand, and added
    documentation (Mathieu Duponchelle).
  * Removed unnecessary check for empty string_content.
  * Factored out contains_inlines.
  * Moved the cmake minimum version to top line of CMakeLists.txt (tinysun212).
  * Fix ctype(3) usage on NetBSD (Kamil Rytarowski). We need to cast value
    passed to isspace(3) to unsigned char to explicitly prevent possibly
    undefined behavior.
  * Compile in plain C mode with MSVC 12.0 or newer (Nick Wellnhofer). Under
    MSVC, we used to compile in C++ mode to get some C99 features like mixing
    declarations and code. With newer MSVC versions, it's possible to build in
    plain C mode.
  * Switched from "inline" to "CMARK_INLINE" (Nick Wellnhofer). Newer MSVC
    versions support enough of C99 to be able to compile cmark in plain C mode.
    Only the "inline" keyword is still unsupported. We have to use "__inline"
    instead.
  * Added include guards to config.h
  * config.h.in - added compatibility snprintf, vsnprintf for MSVC.
  * Replaced sprintf with snprintf (Marco Benelli).
  * config.h: include stdio.h for _vscprintf etc.
  * Include starg.h when needed in config.h.
  * Removed an unnecessary C99-ism in buffer.c. This helps compiling on systems
    like luarocks that don't have all the cmake configuration goodness (thanks
    to carlmartus).
  * Don't use variable length arrays (Nick Wellnhofer). They're not supported
    by MSVC.
  * Test with multiple MSVC versions under Appveyor (Nick Wellnhofer).
  * Fix installation dir of man-pages on NetBSD (Kamil Rytarowski).
  * Fixed typo in cmark.h comments (Chris Eidhof).
  * Clarify in man page that cmark_node_free frees a node's children too.
  * Fixed documentation of --width in man page.
  * Require re2c >= 1.14.2 (#102).
  * Generated scanners.c with more recent re2c.

== 3.1 / 2016-05-22

* 1 documentation change:

  * Tim Smith (@tas50) updated the build badges to be SVGs to improve
    readability on high-density (retina) screens with pull request
    {#112}[mime-types/ruby-mime-types#112].

* 3 bug fixes

  * A test for MIME::Types::Cache fails under Ruby 2.3 because of frozen
    strings, {#118}[mime-types/ruby-mime-types#118].
    This has been fixed.

  * The JSON data has been incorrectly encoded since the release of mime-types
    3 on the +xrefs+ field, because of the switch to using a Set to store
    cross-reference information. This has been fixed.

  * A tentative fix for
    {#117}[mime-types/ruby-mime-types#117] has been
    applied, removing the only circular require dependencies that exist (and
    for which there was code to prevent, but the current fix is simpler).
    I have no way to verify this fix and depending on how things are loaded by
    +delayed_job+, this fix may not be sufficient.

* 1 governance change

  * Updated to {Contributor Covenant 1.4}[Code-of-Conduct_rdoc.html].
