Imperial Capitol

Once the most important location in the Empire, in a past apocalypse it fell into a great ravine, and parts of the city rest sideways along the ravine's walls. The Myriad Cathedral floats above the site.

A deeply entrenched bunker built by early-period Imperial Architects is concealed by a powerful glamour, which discourages bandits and occasionally causes more determined adventurers to become library denizens for awhile. Expeditions must bring at least one week of supplies, along with some means of preventing arachnid-originating temporal paradox, and generally aren't worth the effort.
