Rites of the Fishermen

These are the initiation rites that new Fishermen must undergo.

  • Navigation Rite: A small crew of aspirants is made to sail for a fortnight with only a compass for navigation, which turns out to be broken. Some claim the Sea Druids are in fact those Fishermen who drowned, and thus failed.

  • Tomb Rite: A lone aspirant must touch the stone at the end of a cunning gauntlet of traps.

  • Canyon Rite: A small crew of aspirants must collect a treasure from the sideways portion of the abandoned Imperial Capitol. Depending on guildhall location, a fast-moving river may be substituted, or a pocket of altered spacetime.
